A woman is currently on he run, after attempting to kill her husband.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Sarah Ayinde set her husband, Abidemi Ayinde, who is also a police officer on fire at No. 20 Igboore Street in the Iperu area of Ogun state.
It was gathered that the couple had engaged in a minor argument on December 12, which escalated quickly and the wife burnt her husband, who is a special constable with the Ogun State Police Command.
The victim has been hospitalised following the incident and efforts are underway to apprehend the wife.
In related news, a man has been arrested, after beating his wife to death in Ebonyi.
