Wike revoked Certificate of Occupancy for PDP secretariat due to unpaid ground rent.
George says Wike has “crossed the red line” and declared war on the party.
Former Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olabode George, has strongly criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over the revocation of the party’s land title.
George condemned Wike’s action, stating that although he considers him a political son, the minister has crossed the red line and effectively declared war.
According to George, Wike’s decision to revoke the Certificate of Occupancy for the PDP secretariat was unacceptable. “He has crossed the red line. Do you know why? During this same period of trying to declare a state of emergency in Rivers State, he revoked the Certificate of Occupancy of our party’s secretariat,” George said.

George further stated that Wike’s action was a clear declaration of war, saying, “It’s like you come from your community, and from that community, your home, your home village was there. Suddenly, you now became the local government chairman of that community. And the first exercise you did officially is to go revoke the Certificate of Occupancy of your father’s house, the house that produced you and the house where you got all kinds of things.”
