The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has called for an emergency security meeting in response to the deteriorating security situation in the nation’s capital.

The situation has escalated to the point where some residents, including a 13-year-old secondary school student, were killed for failing to meet ransom payment deadlines.
