The event drew traditional rulers, community leaders, and residents from the clan’s eleven communities.
Speaking for the clan, Mr. Lawson Chukwu, Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC), reaffirmed their loyalty to Governor Fubara.
He commended ongoing development projects and requested the upgrade of internal roads and the elevation of the Eneka traditional stool from second-class to first-class status.
Sen. John Azuta-Mbata, political leader of the Eneka clan and President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, emphasized that Fubara is recognized as the legitimate governor of Rivers State. He promised continued friendship and support for the governor.
In response, Governor Fubara thanked the community for the endorsement. He assured residents of interventions to restore roads damaged by heavy-duty vehicles during flyover constructions and instructed the Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community Affairs to begin the stool elevation process.
Fubara urged the Eneka people to maintain unity, noting that a peaceful and cohesive community facilitates effective government development projects.
