Will the Joshua vs. Wilder Fight Finally Happen? 🤷♂️
For years, people have wanted to see Joshua and Wilder face off in the ring, but it has never happened.
When talking to 78SPORTSTV, Wilder made it clear that the fight won’t happen this year, but it could happen soon.
“Not this year for sure, but in the near future. Maybe sometime next year. But all of that is close. I’ve just got to get myself back together first and foremost, and I have got to prove to myself that I am back together like I feel.”
Before fighting Joshua, Wilder needs to win some fights and prove he is still a top fighter.🔥

What About Anthony Joshua? 🤔
While Wilder is getting ready to fight again, Anthony Joshua is still recovering from an injury after his fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley last September.
His promoter, Eddie Hearn, said that Joshua is not ready for full training yet. This means his next fight could be delayed.
Wilder’s 2024 Plan: Three Fights This Year 📅
Wilder is not wasting time. He has a plan to fight three times in 2024 to get back in shape.
Here is what his year looks like:
June 27 – First fight against Tyrrell Herndon in Wichita.
Mid-year – A bigger fight outside the U.S. (opponent not announced yet).
End of 2024 – Another major fight to finish the year.
“We have got a lot of fights lined up for this year. We are looking to have maybe three this year. The next one is going to be a big one outside of the country. And then we are looking to do one more at the end of the year.”
Can Wilder Become a Champion Again? 🥇
The road back to the top will not be easy. Wilder must show he can still win at a high level.
Joshua needs to recover before planning his next big fight.
Fans are excited to see if the long-awaited fight will finally happen.
If everything goes well, 2025 could be the year we finally see Joshua vs. Wilder—a fight the boxing world has been waiting for.
