Williams Uchemba Reveals Why He Quit Public Gym to ‘Make Heaven’

Williams Uchemba

Nollywood actor Williams Uchemba has shared why he stopped attending public gyms, stating that it was to avoid distractions that could compromise his spiritual journey. He explained that the sight of scantily clad women at the gym was a source of temptation, prompting him to install a gym at home instead.

The actor, who is married, also called on women to dress more modestly when at the gym, emphasizing that their choice of clothing can lead men astray.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Williams Uchemba expressed concern over the “appalling” level of indecent dressing he observed at public gyms, saying he couldn’t deal with it anymore. He urged women to consider their impact on others and dress more appropriately to help everyone stay focused on their fitness goals without distractions.

He said, “Ladies, should all the men stop coming to the gym? Because your indecent dressing is getting out of hand. It’s becoming appalling. I’m tired.

“Please, try and dress decently to the gym. There are men that are determined to make heaven, please don’t distract us. Everytime one comes to the gym, he is forced to see what he didn’t intend to see.

“You ladies have made up your mind to prevent Nigerian men from going to heaven but it won’t work because I’ve left the gym. I’ve set up a gym in my house because I cannot cope. I want to make heaven.”
