Veteran Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid has been nominated for the 2022 Grammy Awards.
The ace songwriter bagged two nominations with his ‘Made in Lagos’ album and his song ‘Essence’, featuring songstress, Tems.
Made in Lagos was nominated in the category of Global Music Album. While ‘Essence’ got nominated for Best Global Music Performance.

Essence, which is the fourth song in the fourth song in his ‘Made in Lagos’ album, has gained popularity amongst people, as it also becomes the summer hit song for celebrities in America and most parts of the world.
