Renowned Nigerian artist, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, recently shed light on his relationship with fellow musician, Burna Boy, during a candid interview.
Wizkid reminisced about their initial encounter, which occurred while collaborating on Burna Boy’s album “African Giant.” Recounting a humorous incident from their time in the studio, he revealed how things took an unexpected turn due to his own inebriation, despite the initial hiccup.
Expressing fondness for Burna Boy, Wizkid referred to him as family, emphasizing the creative synergy that arises when two exceptional talents come together. In a video snippet from the interview, he remarked, “Burna Boy and I are like family. When you have two great people in the room, you are bound to make amazing music.”
