Nigerian Afrobeats singer Wizkid has praised veteran producer and music executive Don Jazzy, calling him an “amazing” person. This comes after a recent social media fallout between the two.
The conflict began when Wizkid shaded Don Jazzy after his signee, Ladipoe, seemingly ridiculed Wizkid on X for claiming that “hip hop is dead.” In response, Wizkid tweeted, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next,” and retweeted posts implying that Don Jazzy was just an influencer. Don Jazzy then unfollowed Wizkid on Instagram.
However, the two appear to have reconciled, as Don Jazzy recently thanked Wizkid for endorsing his signee Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21.’

On Thursday, Wizkid took to his X handle to hail Don Jazzy, describing him as an “amazing human.” He wrote, “Don jazzy! amazing human! [Love and eagle emojis].”
