Afrobeats star Wizkid has sparked controversy with a cryptic post ahead of Davido’s wedding to Chioma Rowland.
Recently, Davido confirmed that he and Chioma will be getting married on June 25 in Lagos, despite allegations of infidelity. On Sunday evening, he shared their pre-wedding photos on social media.
Shortly after the photos were posted, Wizkid tweeted “Lol [lots of laughs],” causing a stir among fans. The next morning, Wizkid seemed to take a jab at Davido, tweeting: “Saying a prayer for every understanding woman on earth! Your king loves you.”
This post drew mixed reactions, with many speculating that Wizkid was shading Chioma for staying with Davido despite the cheating allegations. Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, recently stated that she and Davido rekindled their romance between 2020 and 2022, which overlapped with his relationship with Chioma.
