Nigerian comedian Woli Arole has criticized Christians who frequently condemn the popular reality TV show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija). The show’s ninth season premiered on Sunday, July 28, 2024, prompting a wave of disapproval on social media.
In response to these criticisms, Arole took to Instagram on Monday to call out Christians for labeling the show as ‘ungodly.’
He urged the Christian community to create their own reality TV shows that align with their values instead of complaining. He also noted that there are many Christian billionaires who could fund such projects.

“Nobody should complain about BBNaija. Do your own Godly reality TV show! If you do not sponsor them, you can’t tell them how they should behave. There are Christian billionaires who can fund Godly TV shows. Period,” Woli Arole said.
