The 23-year-old Nigerian will undergo a medical on Saturday, transfer reports say, and Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement and the booking.
Arokodare scored 23 goals and set up seven more in 45 games to finish as Belgium’s top scorer last season.
That form was what attracted interest across Europe.
He adds a powerful presence in the box and a proven eye for goal — traits Wolves hope will lift their attack.
This season Genk cut his minutes amid transfer talks, leaving him mainly on the bench.
Genk’s sporting director described the likely exit earlier in the window, saying the chance of Arokodare’s departure was “99 per cent” and that the striker was “very well in the market and is also ready to take the next step.”
If he passes the medical and clears international paperwork, Wolves will add a proven Belgian top-scorer to sharpen their frontline.
If completed, Wolves sign Tolu Arokodare to strengthen their goalscoring options.
