A woman has been caught in the act, as she tried to abandon her child on a lonely road in Rivers state.
The woman was spotted by a group of women in Rumigbo, Rivers state.
According to a video posted online, the woman was questioned about her reason for doing so, and in response, she decried hunger and poverty. She added that no one has agreed to help since since she became pregnant till she put to bed.

The woman said she no longer wants the child, so the women offered to take the boy to an orphanage home.
When asked who the child’s father is, she said he is a Yoruba man whom she heard had been died in an accident.
