The Ogun State Police Command has found a woman’s dead body inside a shallow canal in the state.

The Police found the body of the 34-year-old woman near a piggery farm in Ijebuode, Ijebuode Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the woman went missing last Thursday without any trace.

It was said that there were no marks of violence on her body, but a plastic bag containing an unidentified liquid was found at the scene.

The command’s spokesperson, Omolola Odutola disclosed that investigations have been launched to determine the circumstances behind her death.

Also, her remains have been deposited at the state hospital mortuary in Ijebuode for autopsy.
