A tragic incident has left many wailing, after a woman, alongside her children lost their lives.
According to reports, a bus conveying passengers suddenly burst into flames along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.

Confirming the incident, an eyewitness noted that the vehicle, with registration number, BGT 996 LG, was carrying 18 passengers to Kogi state when it bust into flames at Manderegi village, near Abaji, along the Abuja-Lokoja highway.
He added that a woman and her two children who were trapped hot burnt beyond recognition, while 12 of those in note sustained varying degrees of burns

According to the FRSC, FCT sector commander, Mr Muta’ah Chorrie, who confirmed the accident to Daily Trust, he blames the driver for carrying Jerrycan loaded with fuel in the bus alongside passengers.
“Let me tell you, this is what we have been saying that there is danger in carrying extra fuel with passengers while traveling. We have been sensitizing motorists on this but some defiant drivers still carry them,” he said.
