A 42-year-old woman identified as Olusayo Fagbemi, has been reportedly murdered by unknown assailants in Sasa community of Akinyele Local Government Area, Oyo state.
She was reported to have been killed while washing plates in front of her house at about 5:40am on Wednesday morning.
The incident attracted her neighbours due to Fagbemi’s cry for help as she was discovered struggling in the pool of her blood on getting to the scene.
She was later confirmed dead in the hospital as she didn’t survive the injury sustained on her head.
While confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of Oyo State Command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, said that efforts are ongoing to trail the culprits.
