Woman Remanded In Prison For Allegedly Threatening Seyi Tinubu, IGP | Daily Report Nigeria

A Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded a woman, Olamide Thomas, in Suleja Correctional Centre for allegedly threatening Seyi Tinubu, Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, on social media.

Thomas was arraigned on a three-count charge of cyberstalking and harassment, contrary to Section 24 (2) (a) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) (Amendment) Act, 2024. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Justice Emeka Nwite adjourned the matter until December 30 for commencement of trial and directed Thomas’s lawyer, T.J. Aondo, SAN, to file a formal bail application.
