A woman has shared her experience of how she landed in the hospital after picking money from the floor.
According to the Kentuckian woman, the incident happened over the weekend while on a trip for a conference in Dallas, Texas with her husband and children.

Sharing her ordeal on Facebook, she said that during the trip the family stopped at a McDonald’s in Bellevue, Tennessee when she saw some lost cash on the ground and decided to pick it up.
A few minutes after picking it up she became numb and was unable to move or breathe, and it wasn’t long before she passed out.

According to reports, Renee also grabbed her husband’s hand with the same hand she used to pick up the money, and he too started experiencing similar symptoms, but it wasn’t as bad as hers, as he was able to drive his unconscious wife to St. Thomas Ascension Hospital.
It was gathered that Renee finally recovered after four hours, and she was discharged from the hospital which described it as an accidental drug overdose, but her husband, who is a police officer said he believes that the dollar his wife picked up was laced with fentanyl.
