Argentinian captain, Lionel Messi has been crowned Best Player at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward scored 7 goals and 3 assists in seven games.
Messi’s club teammate, Kylian Mbappe also earned the Golden Boot after scoring 8 goals, including a hat-trick in the final.

Other individual award winners were Emiliano Martinez, who scooped the Golden Glove to emerge best goalkeeper.
