Following the addition of Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Raphael Onyedika, Chrisantus Uche, and Victor Osimhen to the roster, along with Ademola Lookman and Cyriel Dessers, coach Eric Chelle is now fielding a full-strength squad.

The players trained straight away, working on tactics, set pieces and conditioning to speed integration.

Chelle pushed intensity in drills, and the newcomers slotted into group sessions quickly.

Osimhen brings a proven goalscoring threat, Chukwueze will test defences with pace and creativity, while Arokodare, Onyedika and Uche give the coach clear tactical options.

Next up, Nigeria host Rwanda in Uyo before flying to Bloemfontein to meet South Africa.

With Group C qualification on the line, Chelle’s side must grab maximum points to keep their World Cup bid alive.

The Super Eagles Uyo camp looks sharper and deeper, yet the squad must convert preparation into results when the whistle blows.
