Suspected internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo Boys have allegedly raped a septuagenarian granny who resides in an Urban area in the Sapele local government area of Delta state.

According to the report, the boys whose numbers could not be ascertained broke into the woman’s apartment and raped her.

The report also had it that the woman was bleeding profusely when she was found.

She was however, rushed to the hospital where she is currently receiving treatment.

Speaking to Vanguard, a community source said the rape of old women living with their grand and great-grandchildren had become trendy among suspected Yahoo boys in Sapele and other parts of the state.

Also, another resident of the community said it was all about rituals for money, “The boys have started relocating to villages where more of these old women reside. What will make a boy in his 20s want to climb an old woman if not for rituals “, he queried.
