At a recent listening party for her new album, Rebel Queen, Alade revealed that she avoids letting negative opinions affect her.

“I don’t dwell on criticisms,” she said. “I’m just living my life because we only get one. If I come across something that doesn’t resonate with me, I simply move on. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I choose to focus on what matters to me.”
