He wrote on Instagram, “Let’s peacefully attend the next coroner’s inquest and protest to make our demands clear. If there’s no substantial update, we should focus on the one-year anniversary.”

Mohbad, a former artist with Marlian Records, passed away on September 12, 2023, under mysterious circumstances. In response to public outcry, the Lagos State Police set up a 13-man investigation team, and his body was exhumed for an autopsy on September 21, 2023.

However, the pathologist later testified that the autopsy couldn’t determine the cause of death due to decomposition. Unhappy with the results, Mohbad’s family has since called for an independent autopsy.
