Ekwem was arrested in March 2022 at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos, for having 54 sticks of drugs wrapped around his body while on his way to Kenya for a three-weeks crusade.
He, however, was granted N2 million naira bail in April by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State.
