Some youths have successfully saved a ma from being kidnapped in Lagos state.
According to reports from PUNCH Metro, the suspects, identified as Taiwo Olayinka, Azeez Sodiq, and Saheed Moonstruck, were alleged to have attempted to kidnapped a car dealer on Ebute in Ikorodu Local Government Area on Tuesday, August 20.

Confirming the incident and arrest through his official X handle, the command PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin noted that the police sprung into action following a viral video on X.
In the video, the suspects could be seen stripped, and beaten up while being repeatedly questioned by youths who caught them after the failed kidnap attempt.

“Three suspects, Taiwo Olayinka 30, Azeez Sodiq 33 and Saheed Moonstruck 23, have been in our custody sinc yesterday, shortly after the incident, and efforts are on to arre the remaining two suspects that escaped. Meanwhile, the investigation has commenced,” he said
Hundeyin indicated that more investigations are still ongoing
He added, “The three arrested are the suspected thieves or kidnappers (investigation would tell which).”
