The lawmaker representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District, Hassan Mohammed Gusau, has dumped the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
Hassan announced his departure from the PDP during Tuesday’s plenary at the Red Chambers.
Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, read Gusau’s letter informing his colleagues of his action at the plenary.
According to the letter, Gusau attributed his decision to the alleged factionalisation and infighting in the Zamfara State chapter of the PDP.
