A Presidential hopeful under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, has called on major political parties in the country to zone their presidential ticket to the southeast for fairness and justice.
The former lawmaker made the call while interacting with selected journalists in Abuja.
He noted that almost all geopolitical zones in the country have had their fair share of the zoning arrangement, except the South East.
According to him: “zoning is not the best. But we are not there yet, so there is a need for all zones to have a fair share. Zoning is very important for the development of Nigeria. Almost all geo-political zones have had their fair share of zoning, except the South East.

” In PDP’s constitution, there is power rotation. So, the PDP and other major political parties should zone to the South. And once they do that, then it should be micro zoned to the South-East”.
