About 10 persons are feared dead in an explosion that occurred at an illegal refinery in Uzuaku Community in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.

It was gathered that three persons died at the scene of the incident which reportedly occured on Friday evening, while seven others later died in the hospital where they were rushed to for medical treatment.

This is coming barely two weeks after a fire explosion killed over 100 persons at an illegal crude oil refining site in Imo State.
