Senators Godswill Akpabio and Abdulaziz Yari have both been nominated as candidates to contest the Senate Presidency.
Akpabio wad nominated by Senator Ali Ndume while Yari was nominated by Senator Elisha Abbo.
Both candidates have accepted their nomination as proceedings commenced on Tuesday morning.
