The FRSC urged the Judiciary, transport unions, and other stakeholders to join forces in restoring sanity on the roads through speedy and effective prosecution.

According to him, the crash investigation revealed that a Dangote Truck and a Toyota Hiace Bus were involved, with the truck driver causing the collision by wrongfully overtaking another vehicle.

The impact resulted in a fire that killed 19 people, with one injured and two survivors who were wearing seatbelts. The deceased victims have been taken to Okene General Hospital.

He added that the driver of the truck involved in the crash will face prosecution.
