19-Year-Old Buries Stepbrother Alive In Kogi | Daily Report Nigeria

A 19-year-old Goodness Oshodi has reportedly buried his step-brother, Friday Oshodi, alive in Kogi State.

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Kogi State Command arrested Goodness Oshodi after the crime.

The incident took place in Apamisede Community, Adavi Local Government area of the state on Tuesday evening.

Fortunately, Friday Oshidi was rescued by concerned neighbors.

According to a witness, the suspect carried out the act on the instruction of his mother, who accused the victim of stealing N1,000.

The elder brother, following his mother’s directive, not only physically assaulted the victim but also decided to bury him alive.

He explained that he was merely following his mother’s orders to punish his sibling for stealing from her.

He stated that his mother was not present at the time of the incident as she was attending church.

SP William Aya, the command’s spokesman has confirmed the arrest of the boy.

Aya said:
Yes, we are aware. The boy has been arrested. An investigation is ongoing as to why and how such a thing could happen.”
