Emerging reports held that two Nigerian girls have been burnt to death by their boyfriends in Burkina Faso.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, as confirmed by a Catholic Missionary seminarian on Twitter.
The seminarian’s post insisted that the remains of the girls who allegedly went to Burkina Faso for prostitution were buried on Thursday afternoon, May 4.

It was revealed in the post that there was a 17-year-old girl who was allegedly sold by her mum for prostitution in the country.
The post said the young girl was bleeding profusely for nearly 24 hours.
It read:
“Two Nigerian girls that came to Burkina Faso to do runs were burnt alive yesterday by their boyfriends. One girl here her mum sold her out to another woman for runs here. She is just 17yrs and has been bleeding since yesterday.”
Illegal human trafficking cases by Nigerian men and women for s3xual exploitation, the post said were rampant in Burkina Faso.
It added:
“Some Nigerian men and women are selling our sisters from Nigeria to Burkina Faso into prostitution. One said she balanced her madam 2mil cefas.”
