Hakeem Odumosu, Lagos state Commissioner of Police has stated that three students of Dowen College in Lekki are currently in police custody for allegedly assaulting 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni junior.

Odumosu who disclosed this to Newsmen on Tuesday said
the remaining two students who’s names were mentioned are now at large.

He further explained that the Command is set to go for the post mortem of the body in Delta state to ascertain the cause of death. He assured that police authorities in both Lagos and Delta State are keenly interested in the outcome of the investigation to unravel the mystery behind Sylvester’s death.

Recall that late Sylvester Oromoni before his death mentioned five students who assualted him in school, the incident led to the death of the student on November 30, 2021.

Odomosu said the students in custody are assisting the police in their investigation.
