Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has asserted he will be available for participation at the 2021 African Cup of Nation, AFCON.
The tournament has been scheduled to commence in less than 20 days on January 9, 2021.
The Napoli striker had sustained a serious injury following a collision with Skriniar during a Serie A tie with Inter Milan in November.

The accident then saw the 22-year-old broke his left cheekbone and orbit to have warranted undergoing surgery.
Subsequently after the successful operation, Gli Azzurri made announcement to the effect that the former Lille star would not be active on the pitch for months.
By implication, he is not expected to return anytime before AFCON kicks off.
However, the striker has now revealed he’s back to partake in the competition.

In anticipation, Osimhen has started training individually just two weeks after the operation on his cheekbone and orbit.
Therefore, he called the attention of the Nigerian coaching crew to his fitness and readiness for the tournament.
Osimhen tweeted: “I will be available for AFCON unless if am not among the players picked to represent NIGERIA. “
