The statement read, “Sowore in his usual desperate manner but a goof-off attempt to clings party’s presidential ticket is now mendaciously leveraging on the media and has unfortunately been billed to appear on AIT’s presidential series on Democracy Today by 7pm to further his deceitful antics as an impostor.”

“For the umpteenth time, Sowore has been expelled from the party over proven allegations of financial misappropriation and anti-party activities since August 9, 2019.

“Such a charlatan personality cannot double as our presidential candidate and party chairman.”

The party called on the management of the African- Independent Television, (AIT), and other media outlets to call off any invitation sent to Sowore’s.
