2023: Dutchman Wiebe Boer Declares For Plateau Governorship

A Dutch Nigerian, Wiebe Boer, with the Huasa name Yohanna Maigona, has declared his interest to join the governorship race in Plateau State.

In a poster that has since gone viral on the internet, Maigona is set to contest on the platform of the “All for All Peoples Party”.

Daily Report Nigeria understands that Maigona has lived in Jos all his life and speaks the Hausa language fluently.

Maigona, an adopted uncle to Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga, is also said to have attended a Secondary school in the city.

The Sarkine Bature of Plateau is the CEO of All On Energy, a company involved in producing renewable energy, such as solar power.

The governorship aspirant also has an affiliation with the Pan African Writers Association(PAWA).

He most notably interviewed Noble Laureate, Whole Soyinka on 12 May 2021, who was the first guest of the PAWA Conversation Series.
