Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State has revealed how the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi got him arrested.
Accord to El-Rufai, he had gone to Anambra state years ago to observe an election for the All Progressives Congress.
He noted that Obi, who was governor at the time got him under house arrest for 48 hours to deprive from carrying out the assignment he was sent to do.

El-Rufai added that he would have done same but for the fact that he as a civil human being.
Speaking at the Arewa Joint Committee in Kaduna on Monday, El-Rufai said;
“I went to Anambra state for my party to monitor election, Peter Obi who was a Governor put me under house arrest for 48 hours.
“Today, I am the Governor of Kaduna state and he’s coming to Kaduna to campaign.
“Apart from other security agencies, I have the First Mechanized Division of the Army in Kaduna but I will not arrest him because we Northerners are civilized people.”
