Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has disclosed that though he pleaded to some of his cabinet members not to resign, they insisted on leaving to run for different political offices ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Speaking when he presided over the State Executive Council meeting, the governor said that he would not stop any one of them from pursuing their ambitions.

According to him: “We are all politicians. This is a political time, the time has come. The timetable is out. The guidelines are out and political forms are out. I know that there are so many of us that are political gladiators.
