2023 Presidency: Why Tinubu Will Win Despite Muslim-Muslim Ticket – Ndoma-Egba

An ex-chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Victor Ndoma-Egba has expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would win the 2023 presidential elections.

The Former Senate Majority Leader said the controversy that has trailed the Muslim-muslim presidential ticket of the APC is “a very emotive issue”.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) also expressed confidence that the party would retain Cross River State.

According to him: “I wish the APC had options open to it. As it is now the Christian community should present its charter of demand to the party.

“Not everyone is happy (about the Muslim-Muslim ticket) but APC will win nevertheless”, he told reporters.

He added that APC candidate, Bola Tinubu has what it takes to govern Nigeria and move the country to the next level “given his pedigree and record”.

For Cross River election, Ndoma-Egba stated that the “geopolitics” of the state favours the APC candidate Bassey Otu.

He said the notion that people of the state only support the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will come under the “first severe test in 2023”.

“For once it is not and the PDP in the State is not used to being out of power. It will be a fish out of water”, the former lawmaker said.
