Nigerian writer and Journalist, Farooq Kperogi has predicted that the road may be clear for Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, to become Nigeria’s president in 2023.
The controversial writer and scholar stated this via a tweet on his Twitter page on Friday.
According to Kperogi, Peter Obi may succeed President Muhammadu Buhari even if he does not win the election via votes.

He said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) could be disqualified from the race.
Kperogi, who did not give reasons for his prediction, urged his followers to await more details.
He wrote: “Peter Obi may become president in 2023 even if he doesn’t win the plurality of votes cast in the presidential election because Tinubu and Atiku, the two top contenders for the presidency, may be disqualified. Wait for the details in my Saturday column.”
