2027: Burutu APC Intensifies Drive for Internal Unity, Cohesion
SHARE

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State, has continued its consistent lush for internal unity and cohesion.

The move is part of the APC’s resolve to put its house in order ahead of the 2027 general elections, aiming to secure a clean victory.

This is as the leadership of the party led by the Burutu APC Chairman, Comrade Seikemiengha Moni, paid a consultative visit to the Chairman Delta State Bursary and Scholarships Board, Comrade Shedrack Agediga, at his residence in Warri.

Comrade Moni described Agediga as an exemplary fellow who has shown commitment to the general development of Burutu Council.

Moni emphasized that for the APC in Burutu Local Government Area to fulfil the mandate of the party, members such as Agediga who have shown commitment and credibility in the past must be on board.

“Agediga has shown tremendous commitment to the general development of Burutu Local Government Area the past.

“It is only expedient that for the us to fulfil the Renewed Hope for More Agenda mandate of our party, credible members like him must be given appropriate room to perform for the success of our party in 2027”, Moni said.

On his part, Agediga said the meeting was a pointer to the need for sustained unity and cohesion of party faithfuls ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In his recommendations, the erstwhile Executive Director for Planning Research and Statistics in the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Commission (DESOPADEC) charged the Working Committee to galvanize the needed support for the reelection bids of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.

Agediga emphatically called for the authentication of old members and a ‘massive’ registration of new members into the APC in the Burutu Local Government Area.

He advised the committee “to ensure the cooperation and by-in of all critical stakeholders in the local government to ensure that so that come 2027, it will be a free ride for the APC from the bottom to the top, from the President to the last person”.

Agediga, who declared the APC as the only formidable party in Burutu, charged all ‘critical stakeholders’ to join hands with the Working Committee in galvanising support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and the More Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
