Men of the Edo state police command have arrested a suspected armed robbery accomplice in the state.

The suspect was alleged to have received money from her boyfriend who is a criminal.
The Edo state police force have arrested one Ella Samuel, a 23-year-old woman, for allegedly being an accomplice to a gang of armed robbers.
Ella, who is a mother four reportedly received stolen money into her account from her lover, an armed robbery gang leader.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the armed robbery gang is infamous for it’s criminal activities, with one of their recent attacks being in the Amagba community and other areas in Benin City where they r3ped women in one of the houses.
They also robbed a man of his ATM card, and also forcefully collected his pin before proceeding to withdraw the sum of N460,000 from his account.

The money was traced to a bank account belonging to the suspect.
The police subsequently tracked the suspect to an hotel in Delta state, where she was arrested, and her lover escaped.
Upon interrogation, it was discovered that the suspect is a mother of four, whose four children belong to notorious criminals on the wanted list of the police.
The command’s spokesman, SP Moses Yamu, said efforts are on to arrest fleeing members of the gang.
