  • A man has been arrested for the legend murder of his father in Delta state.

  • The accused reportedly committed the crime following dispute of some amount of money.

  • He has been remanded in custody of the police.

Men of the Delta state police command have arrested one Success, a 23-year-old man in Delta state for murdering his father.

Success was said to have hacked his father to death for refusing to give him N5000.

This happened in the Sapele area of Delta state, on Sunday, 12th January 2025.

According to reports, his father as rushed to the hospital for treatment on Monday, January 13, but succumbed to his injuries the next day.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the command SP Bright Edafe said the suspect is now in the police custody.

“The incident occurred on Sunday but the father d!ed today. Success is in custody,” the PPRO said.
