Henrich Akomolafe, a 29-year-old engineer has emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party ticket for Ekiti-South Federal Constituency 1 in Ekiti State.
Akomolafe, who the Managing Director of Akotex Nigeria LTD, a company with a focus in the elevator & escalator industry, clinched the ticket unopposed.
He was the only aspirant that appeared before PDP screening committee and was declared a consensus candidate of the party, in an exercise that held in Ikere, his hometown.

The young entrepreneurs said his decision to contest the seat was inspired by a passion for better representation.
He revealed his desire to give life to the recently approved ‘Not Too Young To Run’ Act.
Akomolafe showed appreciate for all his constituents, supporters and leaders of the party, for entrusting him with the ticket.
