President Muhammadu Buhari has re-deployed Mohammed H. Abdullahi as the substantive Minister of Environment.
Until the re-deployment, Abdullahi was the Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The appointment was communicated through a terse statement from the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha

The appointment was with effect from April 6, 2022.
The terse statement added: “The President hopes that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment for the growth of the country,”
