40-Year-Old Woman Rapes 12-Year-Old Boy In Bauchi

• A woman has been taken into the police custody for alleged sexual assault.

• It was gathered that the middle-aged woman raped a minor in Bauchi State, leading to her arrest.

Men of the Bauchi State Police command have arrested a woman for alleged sexual assault.

Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the suspect, identified as Fatimah Ibrahim, a 40-year-old woman had sexual activities with a 12-year-old boy.

This happened in the Azare community in Bauchi State.

Confirming the arrest, the spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, in a statement released on Tuesday, April 22 said the victim lived with the suspect at her residence, and was made to undergo numerous sexual abuse for over two months.

“On March 1, 2025, at about 14:00 hours, a concerned citizen from Katagum Local Government Area reported a serious incident to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Azare,” 

“The report implicated Fatimah Ibrahim, a 40-year-old resident of Tashan Jama’are, in a troubling case involving a 12-year-old boy, Abubakar Yakubu (not his real name), who had been employed to assist in her business.

“The victim, an Arabic pupil, was reportedly housed at the defendant’s residence, where he was subjected to inappropriate conduct over two months. During an interview, the victim described how the defendant, who he trusted as a maternal figure, engaged him in acts of a s3xual nature, especially when her other visitors were not present. 

“He recounted being given a mixture involving lemon juice, which he believes may have been tampered with before these incidents occurred. The victim indicated that he had been subjected to such behaviour on multiple occasions.

“During the subsequent interrogation, the defendant admitted to her actions. 

“The investigation is ongoing, and once completed, the suspect will undergo profiling and be charged to court for the established offence.”
