Kidnapped Sixty-one members of  Emmanuel Baptist Church, Kakau Daji, Kaduna, have regained their freedom after one month in captivity.

The development was confirmed by Joseph Hayab, chairman of the Kaduna chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Recall that gunmen had attacked the church located in Chikun LGA of the state on October 31, killing two persons, while several others were kidnapped.

According to Hayab: We thank God they are back but more needs to be done to stop future occurrence,”
