APC nominates Akpabio for senate President

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has nominated Godswill Akpabio as Senate President for the 10th National Assembly.

The National Working Committee of the ruling party also unveiled Abass Tajudeen as Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Also, Ben Kalu was unveiled as candidate for Deputy Speaker of the House.

1. Senate President – South South – Senator Godswill Akpabio (Akwa-lbom).

2. Deputy Senate President – North West-Senator Barau Jubrin (Kano).

10th Assembly: Akpabio as Senate President Will Choke NDDC – Ojei

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES:

1. Speaker, House of Representatives – North West – Hon. Abass Tajudeen (Kaduna)

2. Deputy Speaker – South East
   Hon. Ben Kalu (Abia)

According to the statement signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the nominations were drawn during a meeting of the APC NWC.
