BREAKING: Gunmen Kill UI Lecturer | Daily Report Nigeria

Yet-to-be-properly-identified gunmen have reportedly killed Professor Opeyemi Ajewole, a lecturer in the field of Social and Environmental Forestry at the University of Ibadan (UI).

The incident was said to have occurred on Monday night when Ajewole was returning home.

A member of the faculty, Oladoyin Adebowale confirmed that the deceased was killed at gunpoint.

Also, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, confirmed the incident and assured the public that the matter was under investigation.
