Renowned environmentalist and development advocate, Comrade (Chief) Mulade Sheriff has congratulated Emomotimi Guwor on his emergence as Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly.
Congratulating the new Speaker on his successful election and inauguration, Mulade described Guwor’s emergence as a well deserved one.
The former governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party charged members of the hallowed chamber to give all necessary support to the new Speaker towards forming a formidable legislative arm of government with people oriented development policies that will strengthen the Delta State Government led by Sheriff Oborevwori.

Mulade also called on the new speaker and his colleagues to give maximum support and cooperation to Governor Oborevwori, just as he implored citizens of the state to work with the government to achieve the administration’s MORE Agenda for the betterment of Delta State.
The peace advocate emphatically called on Guwor to build bridges across all spheres towards building a prosperous Delta State.
He said, “it is imperative to state that Delta is getting closer to achieving true democracy of building bridges of development across the state and I call on the Speaker, Rt. Hon Emomotimi Guwor to reach out to build bonds of trust with all, irrespective of tribe, religious and party to make good legislation for a prosperous and develop Delta State of our dreams”.

The Ibe-Sorimowei, on behalf of Gbaramatu Kingdom, further expressed gratitude to all DTHA members for supporting their son during the election.
